In the Eastern North Pacific Ocean: Tropical Storm 06e (Estelle), located approximately 1244 nm southeast of San Diego, is tracking west-northwestward at 09 knots.

Colorado, USA – Two people were killed in flash flooding in Larimer County, Colorado, on Friday, according to the sheriff’s office. At least one home was destroyed in the flooding. Culverts, private bridges and portions of roads were washed out.
Wildfires – Europe
Thousands of firefighters are continuing to battle wildfires in Portugal, Spain and France, as a heatwave shows no sign of easing.
In northern Portugal, a pilot died when his waterbombing plane crashed in the Foz Coa area, near the Spanish border. The Portuguese authorities say at least 238 people have died from the heat over the past week.
Fires are ravaging areas of France’s south-western Gironde region, where over 12,000 people have now been evacuated with more than 10 000 hectares burned.
Wildfires – Canada
The British Columbia Fire Service reported at 4:02 p.m. Saturday that the fire activity on the Nohomin Creek Fire northwest of Lytton, BC has been stable today and no major growth was observed. Fire officials said Friday that at least six homes have been destroyed, and that number could rise with about 1 500 hectares burned.
Anthrax – Croatia
The Croatia Ministry of Agriculture reports on July 13, they received a notification about the death of cattle in the area of the “Lonjsko Polje” Nature Park. The deaths were preceded by the appearance of neurological clinical signs, which were subsequently confirmed by laboratory tests.
