In the Eastern Pacific Ocean: Tropical Storm 07e (Frank), located approximately 718 nm south-southwest of San Diego, is tracking northwestward at 12 knots.

Tropical Depression 07e (Georgette), located approximately 1391 nm southwest of San Diego, is tracking northwestward at 01 knot.

In the Northwest Pacific Ocean: Tropical depression 07w (Trases), located approximately 90 nm south of Kunsan AFB, South Korea, is tracking northward at 18 knots.

Iran – At least 69 people have been killed in flooding and landslides that hit cities across Iran, Iran’s Crisis Management Organization said on Sunday. At least 45 people are still missing in Tehran and three other provinces following the recent floods, which damaged at least 20,000 residential homes. More than 20 provinces, including the Tehran province, have been affected by the floods that were caused by heavy rainfall. Several airports and main highways were closed and thousands of people evacuated.

Wildfires

Wildfires – Wyoming, Nebraska, California USA

The Fish Fire 8 miles south-southeast of Sundance, Wyoming is prompting evacuations south of the city. Evacuation orders are in effect from south of Canyon Springs Road to the south end of the fire, and east of Wyoming Highway 585. The fire has burned 500 acres.

Another fire in the Northern Great Plains has been burning since 6:30 p.m. on July 30 seven miles southwest of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska. The Carter Canyon Fire has grown to approximately 13,000 acres, with part of it being within the Cedar Canyon Wildlife Management Area south of Carter Canyon.

Meanwhile the McKinney fire, in Northern California has burned more than 51,000 acres as of Sunday afternoon.
